For your consideration we have a Cross Townsend Rollerball Pen in the desirable "Midnight Blue" marble lacquer finish. These instruments were made for only a couple of years and were discontinued in 2002 as they were expensive to
manufacture. The brass barrels are covered with multiple layers of blue marbled pattern lacquer with is simply stunning. Instrument is fitted with Rhodium plated hardware for a luxurious look and feel. Instruments were made out of German and USA made components and assembled in Cross USA factory. Cross produced these instruments also in Fountain Pens and Ballpoints albeit Rollerballs were produced in lower numbers.
This particular instrument is in perfect, pristine and mint condition and comes with its inner box.
Thanks!
Available for purchase is a limited edition Cross Townsend 675 SP rollerball pen. These pens were made in 1997, but production was limited because they were very expensive to make. The pen was made by applying ultra-fine particles of genuine jade stones to the brass shell and blending in solid 22K gold flakes. The finish was then suspended in numerous layers of clear polished lacquer. All the appointments are plated in 23K gold. This pen was made in the USA with US/German components.
The pen measures about 5 7/8" long. It comes with its original box. The original Cross ink cartridge is installed. I
purchased this pen at a recent estate sale. It originally retailed for $500 in 1997 and is no longer available from Cross. The Townsend line of Cross pens is prized for exceptional quality, comfort, and writing performance. The jade pen is especially cherished by collectors due to its limited availability and natural beauty.
